What is intune ltd?
intune is a new kind of financial services company. We have what we believe are two very meaningful purposes.
The first is to generate money for Help the Aged to help the most disadvantaged older people in the UK. This makes us feel proud of what we do and makes our customers feel good.
The second is to provide a range of financial service products for people planning their financial affairs in later life.
In the three decades of our 20s to 40s the language of financial planning is about mortgages, re-mortgaging, savings, and for some, school fees. In the five decades of our 50s to 90s, our financial focus changes, as does the language of financial planning, to funeral plans, insurance and, for some, paying for care.
Increasingly it’s a world where people’s age becomes a factor in the products/services they can and can’t access.
intune has been specifically created to give over 50s access to the products and advice that will help them get the most out of their later years, regardless of age.
What do we offer?
Financial services is our heartland. We provide financial information and advice that is accessible, up–to–date and easy to understand. We offer financial products that are characterised by high levels of personal service combined with great value.
We give over 50s options when they thought there were none; we provide products when others reject them. We allow people to benefit from this later stage in life while other companies don’t. We recognise some of the products associated with financial planning in later life do not hold great appeal (funeral plans, care fees). So we make subject matter the majority of us would rather not approach – approachable. We make content most of us choose not to have to read – readable.
And when people choose to engage with intune, be it to enquire or to buy our products, we provide levels of service that reflect the traditional values most people in later life expect. We are the easy access, easy to use brand for financial planning in later life.
